Background
A strong product, a story not yet fully told
WeFoot is already a proven brand. The problem is not the product. It is how that product is spoken for on the site.
WeFoot has built a sports grip sock brand since 2018, on a patented dual grip polyurethane technology. The brand holds 211 reviews across Amazon UK and its own site, and has earned real trust across several customer segments, including football and youth sport.
This is the kind of asset most young brands take years to earn. The current website, though, does not yet carry that trust and technical credibility through to the customer.

Diagnosis
The product is strong. The story is missing.
A review of the current site, the Amazon UK listing and the customer reviews surfaces a business with real substance and a homepage that has not yet caught up to it. None of this is solved by a new visual layer alone. Positioning and messaging need to be set first, so that design and copy then point in the same direction.
Brand positioning
It is not yet clear whether WeFoot is positioned as a performance technology brand, an everyday comfort brand, or both. The 211 reviews suggest customers are already answering this question for themselves, but the homepage speaks to all of them as one and does not yet reflect their language back to them.
Technology story
Dual grip technology is currently explained in technical terms, as one feature among several, which leaves the customer to work out on their own why it matters. It is one of the strongest points of difference the brand owns. Told well, this becomes the spine of the entire page rather than a line in a specifications list.
Website experience
The homepage introduces many messages at once, with limited hierarchy to guide the eye. The 211 reviews are a genuine trust asset, but they sit at the bottom of the page rather than being built into the structure that drives the purchase decision. Greater spacing and a clearer sequence of information would let the strongest points land first.
Brand identity
Beyond the logo, the visual identity relies mainly on black and white, without a defined system of colour, typography and supporting graphic elements carried consistently across the page. This makes the brand harder to recognise and remember at a glance.
Proposed Scope
One homepage, done completely
Rather than touching the whole site, this project focuses on the point of highest impact.
The homepage and one key landing page, carried through from positioning to design to copy as a single, coherent piece of work.
In Scope
- —Positioning — who this is for, and why this brand
- —Core messaging and copy — hero, product story and trust section
- —UI/UX design for the homepage and one key landing page
- —Build and customisation on the existing Shopify theme
Out of Scope — separate discussion
- —A full new brand identity, including logo and colour system
- —Full rewrite of copy across the entire product line
- —Full site architecture redesign and multilingual support
- —Custom Shopify app development
- —New product photography or video
A full brand identity rebuild or a rewrite of copy across the full product range sits beyond this scope. We would recommend reviewing this as a separate next step once this work is live.
